Norway
- We can create video #10 with aspects such as:
- body language
- voice
- clothing, colors, background
(some tips may be given in the body language workshop, by Unnar – a list of small tips, “checklist type”)
- In video number 3; at about 2.27 minutes; the word Frequently might be corrected.
- In video number 4; at about 5.18 minutes (the talking head example): problems regarding differences in contrast; or: did you mean “constract”?
- In video 5; you refer to a wacom tablet; maybe you could just use: a tablet and a pen? About 3.30 minutes; the word exercises.
- video number 3 and 4 would suit to be placed as video number 2?
- Regarding the structure, I think thematically the part describing the six types of educational video styles should be presented after video number 1;
- Video 4 should be video 2
- Video 5 should be video 3
- Video 6 should be video 4
- Then video nr. 3 might be presented as video 5, but edited so the part describing the six types of educational video styles is deleted.
- The six types of educational video style is already mentioned in the first video. No need to repeat it in the third one. Especially when they are going to be mentioned briefly again in the fourth video. Since these are educational videos, the background should have been black as it is recommended. There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
- I miss the focus on the use of different kinds of animated pictures (like gif), etc. More information about the screen resolution, native format, etc would have been necessary and useful. Edpuzzel is a good recommendation mentioned in the ninth video. We could have more such recommendations or useful websites and useful software in one place.
- The text could have been shorten, and only a short phrase been shown at a time.
- Too much empty space. Zoom inn animation could solve such a case.
Feedback of Filip’s nine videos
Generally
- All the videos are very good and are thorough explained .Very well planned.
- The texts/picture is often coming up at the same time as the sound.
- The length of all each video is within the limit and this should give the chance adding very short videos to support what is said and to capture the attention of the listener.
- The rule of third is used all the way.
- The sound is very clear, except in the second video.
- The six types of educational video style is already mentioned in the first video. No need to repeat it in the third one. Especially when they are going to be mentioned briefly again in the fourth video.
- The mouse is left unmovable in the middle of the slide in several videos.
- Since these are educational videos, the background should have been black as it is recommended.
- There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
- The text could have been shorten, and only a short phrase been shown at a time.

- Edpuzzel is a good recommendation. We could have more such recommendation or useful websites and useful software one place.
Nr1. Introduction
- No need to write in this course. You could have said it orally. There should be capital letter at the beginning of each sentence (first and second sentence lack capital letter).
- Only the first sentence ends with period while the rest of the sentences end with nothing.
- The background is white while you said it is better to have black. The second slide, you show an example of digital tablet drawing and power point, and none of them with black background.
- Some themes and animations to add some life or make it more capturing.
Nr2. (Basic concepts in filmmaking)
- There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
- The tips could have been shorten, and only a short phrase been shown in the slide.
- Too much empty space. Zoom inn animation could solve such a case.
Nr.3 Educational videos
- The sentences could have been shorten. The rest could have been read.
- Instead, for just mentioning examples, you could have shown some videos. Too much theory.
- In the slide where it is mentioned about General structure of a tutorial, a video example could have been useful her, not only diagram.
- The six types of educational video style is already mentioned before. No need to repeat it here. Especially when they are going to be mentioned briefly again in the next video.
Nr.4 Educational video styles – part1.
- Space is not used in the best way.
- Picture size in comparison to the empty space is too small, still too much space left.
- The text sizes are too small.
- The sentences could have been shorten. The rest could have been read.
- There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
- The mouse is left in the middle of the slide, unmovable.
Nr.5 Education videos style-part 2
- The sentences could have been shorten. The rest could have been read.
- There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
Nr.6 Education videos style-part 3
- You could have shown one-minute video instead of only slides. This video is quite short ca. 4 min. So there is space.
Nr.7 Conception, planning phase.
- You could have shown one-minute video instead of only slides. This video is quite short ca. 2.5 min. So there is space.
Nr.8 Production (Acquisition) phase
- The mouse is left in the middle of the slide, unmovable.
- You could have shown one-minute video instead of only slides. This video is quite short ca. 3 min. So there is space.
- The sentences could have been shorten. The rest could have been read orally.
- There is no animation used to let the items or the text in each slide come in sequence, not all at once. Too much information at once.
- The rest of videos are more detailed than this one. More information about the screen resolution, native format, etc would have been in the right place.
Nr.9 Final remark.
- It is better to use zoom- inn. Too much text. No animation.
- Instead of just showing the findings and recommendation, it would have been more useful and interesting to show in a short video what is meant. This video is ca. 3 min, so you could have showing at least two examples
Iceland
- The quality of the sound should be (greatly) improved
- some videos are long; might be goof to cut some videos in 2-3 minutes
- Interaction – ask some questions, we could ask people to speculate in the subject (make people think)
- make sure there is good harmony between all videos. Ex:
- layout
- design
- style
- format
- animation
Italy:
- Add interaction
Improve pedagogic value - Sound
- I THINK THE WORD ACQUISITION GOES WITH “CQ” AND NOT ONLY “Q”, BUT MAYBE I AM WRONG.
- English subtitles to make the video more understandable to non-english people
- IN the second video “basic camera shot” lacks the American shot. The American shot goes from knee to head
Germany:
- Length: a little bit shorter videos seem more suitable for learning.
Spain:
- In our specific environment, distance learning, a video is always easier to understand by our students than an explanation via email, for example.
- The tone of the teacher’s voice is always the same in all the videos.
- Some videos are a bit long, specially the introductory one which should be the shortest but it isn’t. Also, video no.3 which is 7 minutes long.
- There are some slides which are full of text, for example in video 9.
- Sometimes, the teacher reads all the text in the slide.
- A better intonation might be appreciated in all of them.
- Some animations would be appreciated. They change from one screen to another showing the whole content, so you start reading and not paying attention to what it is said. Maybe a gradual show of the items would be better.
- In all videos, all of text appears at same time > viewer is reading instead of listening–even in video 9 when narrator says it’s not good for pupils to see powerpoint without animation. At 1.48 (till 4.03 )of video 9, a lot of text appears simultaneously with both findings and recommended solutions- better to see findings one by one, with recommendation after each to allow viewer to draw own conclusion and have more dynamism
- Videos 2 , 3, 4: – at times sounds like it’s underwater. Intonation in general could be more enthusiastic.
- Video 3 is 7 minutes long when we advise maximum of 5. The last 2 minutes of it is anticipating content of the following 3 videos so could maybe be eliminated?
- Video 1: Introduction: From 1.10 till the end of the video (3.52) we see only the same image- there’s nothing new to attract our attention or keep us listening. Shouldn’t the 6 types of video be introduced one by one (maybe with a link to each if the viewer wants to examine it further?) to create more dynamism?Video 2: Tips 1 (1.03)- rather than having all comments on screen at same time, better to have them appear one after the other.(The same with sections on Tips 2, Microphones)- otherwise we violate the rule of Change
- Spelling, lexical mistakes:Video 1: introduction: 0.18: delete “know” (start of sentence = in this course you will learn:….) We can’t say “learn know “0.24: of good planning , not a good planning (=uncountable)Video 2: 1.28 ineffective, not innefective1.56: rule (singular) of thirds3.35: fluctuations, not fluctuations4.08: cancel OUT breathing
Video 3: 1.09 question/query, not doubt

3.45: a one hour video, not an one hour
3,48: a query/question, not doubt
4.57: it doesn’t require them to stand, not it won’t ask them to stand
5.18: handwriting, not calligraphy
5.18: an online student
5.36-in commentary: we could point OUT some other problems as well
